  • I recently attended a charity event at the InterContinental Cleveland. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The facility was lushly appointed and extremely clean. The meal began with a beautiful vegetable and cheese spread that offered a great variety. Most impressive though, was the meal. It began with a deconstructed Caesar salad with the dressing being served for us by a hotel staff member. It was delicious! My main course was a pan seared chicken breast with whipped Gouda potatoes. My 3 new favorite words are...whipped Gouda potatoes. They were the best potatoes I've ever eaten! My lemon tart dessert was perfection! The bar was plentiful, the staff was friendly and the room was beautiful! I was concerned about how long it would take for the valet to get my car since we were all leaving the event at the same time. It was not an issue. The valet station was a well-oiled machine. I would definitely attend an event at the InterContinental again, and I would definitely consider using their facility to host one!
