| - Ate here with some friends before going to a Japanese taiko concert, as was fitting. A little tricky to find, especially with the road construction, but well worth it. Service was very prompt and friendly, and I LOVED the traditional-styled booths (a little cramped, though. Not much space). Privacy while you eat? AWESOME. The server let me switch out avocado for cucumber in one of my rolls, which was great, because I hate that green mush. I ordered salmon roll, miso soup, and a roll that involved tempura'd lobster, yam, and row. Mmmm. Good stuff. Miso soup was great, free edamame, delicious rolls, didn't really like the tea though, it tasted wheaty. Boyfriend ordered a seafood udon and holy crap, SO much meat in it. But you have to deshell/bone it yourself. Portion sizes were very good, and the server was frequently checking up on us. And, their after-dinner candies were one of my favorites! Those chewy chocolate milk things. Mmm. I ONLY rank it four instead of five stars because there was a very noticeable hair- two, actually, in one of my rolls.
