| - A neat little Scandinavian style spa. Simple selection of hot tubs, warm and cold pools, and wet and dry saunas. As usual, the circuit starts with a hot treatment (sauna), followed by a cold treatment (dunk in a freezing bath), followed by relaxation. It sounds horrible to submerse yourself in freezing water, but after you do it once, you "get it". You'll feel completely invigorated and relaxed.
The food was quite expensive, but good. My girlfriend and I shared a 2-cheese platter ($15), and an apple tart ($7). I would prefer them to have cheap sandwiches or snacks on offer, though.
I like the fact that all charges are put on your bracelet and you just pay on the way out. At least you don't have to worry about going back to your locked for your credit card, like I've had to do in other spas.
A 3 hour-or-less visit is $10 cheaper. I'm not sure how I feel about that. You're looking at either $49 or $59 per person depending on the amount of time you're spending. Since it's pricier to stay more than 3 hours, and the food is overly expensive, I feel a little rushed in that I would want to make sure I leave before the 3 hours is up.
If you're looking to spend a short while enjoying the circuit, definitely check it out.
