I called to make an appointment for my husband and he got called into work the morning of the appointment. I called right when the office opened since his appointment was not until the late afternoon. He was a brand new patient, so I thought by calling as soon as I knew he couldn't make it the office would be understanding and reschedule. They said they were charging a $25 no show fee even though my husband has never even seen the doctor before. No one ever told me the policy when making the appointment. They keep sending me a bill for it which I refuse to pay since he had never been a patient there and the fact that I did not know such policy existed. The office manager was extremely rude and made no effort to accommodate us. Who would want to deal with an office like this? How do they expect to gain new patients by treating them so poorly? If my husband was an existing patient that was always missing appt then I would completely understand the fee. Seems like they are hurting for business and it obvious why.
