rev:text	They need to change their sign to walk ins welcome - when we feel like it. Ive gone here about eight times over a year. I've probably left after showing at least that many times. Depending on time of year ill do a 0-1 high and tight fade or a 1/2 to 1&1/2 taper with a little length on the top. I don't think I'm extremely picky - my wife usually complains about my cut before I do... Here's their typical scenario: two barbers in their chair or one cutting one sitting - ask for a cut and they will say they have a reservation, but there is a retiree in the back willing to cut your hair. He's always in the back, it seems. He is very nice, and other reviews seem happy with him, but if you need any type of fade/ taper, you should avoid. I feel bad writing this but I've had at least three of his cuts, all strikes - so I have to warn against anyone wanting a precise cut... The only female barber , kerry?, does good at a taper. She is professional and friendly and a person that makes you feel good about life in general. Couldn't say enough about how nice these two are. The main guy, mike?, has the best fade skills, but good luck having him tell you he's available. Also, prepare to hear his soapbox diatribe, I guarantee you'll get it. This guy is not down with the concept that if you talk about sex, politics, or religion in a big enough room you'll offend someone. Im beginning to think he thinks he belongs on am radio. That being said, he DOES give a very good cut. Since you're going to get his diatribe no matter which chair you sit in, go with him. Being forced to turn down a less than stellar cut and/or waiting while a barber you're waiting for waits WITH you for their reservation is awkward. I've had me and two other barbers sitting with opposite angles of turn down guilt for what seemed like eternity before I've just decided to come back another time. Its less than enjoyable, especially when you can't turn down the primary barbers incessant noise, but it's even worse when you're all just sitting there. Two stars because two out of the three are good at cutting but that's the best I can give it. Without kerry, it's a solid 1.
