  • Went to Ed Roman's a few years ago to buy a 7-string Eastman. It was 10AM mid-week and the place was empty. I was like a kid in a candy store, trying out all kinds of guitars and they gave me zero attitude. Got a great price on the Eastman. The staff are friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. The other reviewer's comments about overpriced US Eastmans may be the Roman-built Eastman jzz guitars. Just a guess. Unfortunately only a 4* rating because I must say that Ed himself is a pompous jerk, insulting anybody who doesn't think like him, including customers.
