  • I have done 10 escape rooms in the valley. Did the Nuclear Meltdown room. The puzzles were ok, but the room itself needed alot of work. There is no ambiance to the room. It's basically a plain room with a tile floor. Basically think of an old grammar school room. There is alot of decor that does not make any sense in the room. It's filled with dictionaries and old computers. It really just felt like it was thrown together without much thought. They need to spend more time on the decorations to improve the look and feel of this room. Also, they need to improve the pre-story leading up to the room. This is how the room is explained on the website. "For the past 70 years, the greatest threat to the planet and our very own existence has been and will always be the possibility of a nuclear explosion. This threat used to be solely based on a nuclear war, but over time with the advent of computers and the internet and most recently the onslaught of computer hackers ANYBODY can be in control of such a device. You are the best and brightest the FBI has to offer and you have been called upon to unravel and decode a series of clues and puzzles that have been found in the possession of a brilliant computer hacker. The criminal has stolen and has in his possession the launch codes to an arsenal of nuclear warheads that are all aimed at the superpowers of the world. The hacker has keyed in the launch codes and unless the secret code he has generated is found and entered into the mainframe the world will be a far different place in 60 minutes. Do you and a group of your peers have what it takes to stop the FINAL COUNTDOWN?" But when we got there, it was basically, he's the room, GO. With other rooms there is some backstory to give you some direction at the start.
