Worst communication between nurses/doctors to patient. I had the choice of going between Higley Banner and Mercy for my 4th child and I went with Mercy. Big mistake. When I left I felt horrible, my whole body felt sick and definitely run down. But because I had a vaginal birth and no severe tear, apparently I should have felt great and no additional medicine was needed. Still to this day (10 wks later)I am dealing with severe pain in my joints and inflammation and have been going to the doctors to help address it. But yes Mercy you did everything for me to help me feel comfortable after my vaginal delivery (not!)
My younger sister went to Mercy emergency room and had the same experience when she has a miscarriage. They gave her minimal service, telling her after they took the ultra sound they couldn't confirm if she was miscarriage and told her to see her OB on Monday. They still charged her insurance $7,000 leaving her a bill of $1,600
But of course they will gladly take your money and tell you they did their best.
If I could do it over again I would choose Banner.
