| - First off, I HATE the menu. Its one paragraph per food item, most of which is a rambling joke with seemingly no punchline. None of the dishes are named anything useful, so you end up having to dig for what each dish actually is, not to mention the price. I gave up after the first page and just looked at yelp pictures to figure out what to order. Maybe if I wasn't so hangry it would have been somewhat funny...
The food was okay, I got the chicken wings with strawberry chipotle sauce, about $7.50 for 6 wings. They were fine, nothing to write home about. My boyfriend got the grilled salmon salad for $14, again, fine. I feel like this summarizes my hand-full of experiences here. Nothing on the menu is that cool or daring, and the prices are rather high for traditional bar food.
The best part of my meal was the bloody mary ($7), and I've never been disappointed in my drinks, but I don't think I'll be spending any more money on food. I also wish the cocktails had prices on the menu. Service is always great, and I've never had to wait for a table. Maybe I'll check out bacon night and they'll win me back.
