  • As I'm sitting here at another shop waiting for the damage caused by Cedar Taylor to be repaired, I thought it would be a good time to write a little review. My wife took her car here to have some belts replaced, which seemed to go off without a hitch. However, after driving a few miles afterward, the car completely died. Seems that the alternator miraculously gave out, and garage refused responsibility. So we forked over some more green to have it towed back and alternator replaced as well. Flash forward about a year and a half, and the belts are squealing just as bad as before we took it to Cedar Taylor. Now I find out that the shoddy installation of the alternator caused a bolt to strip and alternator to come out of place, leading to more squealing. Bottom line: Cedar Taylor practices poor workmanship and refuses to take responsibility for their errors. Stay away from Cedar Taylor garage.
