| - I've been going down to this local Toyota dealership for the past 5 years for service. I really liked it up until recently for 2 reasons.
1) I drive a lot so I am there almost once a month for oil changes and they wash my car every time.
2) It's close to the house and relatively convenient.
But - that all got overshadowed recently when I took my car in because it was dripping oil. They said they found that it could be either one or even two issues. Well, $522 later, they said it was fixed.
It wasn't.
I went back to the dealership and they said - "oh, it's the other piece that was leaking too". Well, that would suggest that the dripping under the car would be LESS after fixing the first issue right? It wasn't.
So I thought, ok. I'll take their word for it and get the other part fixed. $288 later, it still leaks.
Going back THE THIRD TIME, I explained I wasn't too pleased about spending $800 for absolutely nothing and the service manager came back and told me some bullshit about how once you fix one leak, it can leak elsewhere due to another weak area in the engine block. Well, that would make sense if the oil drips stopped for a bit and then happened again, somewhere else under the car but no, it was the same place.
The service manager had the audacity to tell me, "Clifford - looks like it's going to be another $520 plus tax."
Well, I now have my car which is still dripping oil... and I'm out $800.
My advice to anyone thinking about going to Right Toyota - steer clear kids... these guys can't diagnose a damn thing.
