This is a really random review, but I honestly want to give props to the employees here. Of all retail stores I've been in, I think the the employees here are so genuine and so willingly to help you with anything. I came here after dealing with such horrible service from Verizon. My bf's phone broke apparently due to water damage and couldnt get a new phone at the verizon store. Juan, who works at the phone section, was super helpful and told us that he was able to replace it here at Best Buy. The reason why my bf couldnt get his phone replaced was cuz verizon person said that my bf cant get authorized to change anything on his mothers account and that there was no way he could get access ever. However, Juan told us that he IS ABLE to get authorization if his mom gave a quick phone call to Verizon (how easy is that?). What was even better was that if my bf purchased a phone at best buy, he gets a $100 gift card and the new virtual reality Oculus. Such a great deal! We came into best buy so frustrated because of Verizon and after giving best buy a try (we honestly just came in for the AC cuz it was 110 degrees outside) and ask a sales associate about phones here. We left super happy. We didnt get the phone here though becaus we're from Massachusetts and tax is lower in MA and we were flying back in 4 hours so we just decided to get it back home.
Prior to the whole phone ordeal, we stopped by the camera section because my bf has a mirrorless camera and I have a Nikon D3100. The guy at the camera section (I forgot to ask for his name, but he is tall and black) was SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE about cameras so I was really intrigued. He seriously opened up my eyes to DSLRs and the many functions they had (I'm still so new to DSLRs even after owning one for 4 years). He taught me how every lens works, the manual settings, and so many diferent things. I could've stayed there for hours and hours talking to him if I didnt have a plane to catch. Best Buy is super lucky to have him :). I seriously recommend going to him if you have any questions about cameras.
