| - She is definitely talented, as a professional baker I can see how she can maneuver her way around flavours, and I greately appreciate her talent. However, despite the lovely and trendy decore, macarons a little dry. The rest of their pastries are professionally done and are flawless, and the coffee is decent quality. The reason I am not giving this place a higher rating is personal choice, I like artisanal pastries more (i.e. Bobbete and Bell, Clafoutti across the street, Rahier). Their servers always seem a little dazed. On more than one occasion I would place my order, pay and sit and then someone would come over and let me know they forgot to charge me for one thing or another and asked me to go over to cash and pay again. Having said all of that, for those of us with a love for baking, trying this place at least once is a must.
