| - I have been going to Wild East Pan Asian Grill for years. I used to take friends and family there, the food was that good... I will no longer be doing that as I got food poisoning from Wild East, last Saturday night and the management doesn't want to deal with it.
Was out having dinner with friends at Wild East prior to going to party, after having Tom Yum Soup, Water with Lime and a couple of sushi rolls, we headed to the party. By the time I got their I wasn't feeling real well. Within the next hour, I was in the bathroom in misery for quite sometime. Evening ruined! Feeling so bad I wanted to curl up in a ball and die.
I called Wild East on Sunday I was told to call back in the evening to speak with the manager. I did and was very disappointed at how the restaurant management handled it. No apology, they just kept saying prove it prove it. I asked for a refund, they said they would call me back. Three days later I still hadn't heard back from them so I called them. Same manager said they would give me a discount on my next meal. My response to him was would you want to eat somewhere again that you got food poisoning? I then said maybe down the road I might come back but not anytime soon. He said no refund, you prove it. I told him I was over it by Sunday morning so their was no sense going to the doctor on Monday. Why would I spend $150 on a doctor appointment if I am no longer suffering from food poisoning to get a $30 refund.
Honestly it was more about me wanting them to apologize and own up to it, than anything else, but they couldn't even do that. It's sad really, a once good restaurant that doesn't care about their customers.
