I've taken my 2015 Yukon to this dealer for service ever since I moved here and I've been satisfied. Since the lease is ending soon, I stopped in to see how they would deal on a new vehicle. My vehicle only has 23K miles on it so I knew it was worth more than the buy out price. They asked Tom Ross to deal with me. He got some basic info from me and then asked for the keys so he could evaluate my vehicle. He came back very quickly (five minutes) and told me my Yukon was worth $42,000 as a trade-in. I told him I thought it was worth $45,000. He said he could be off a couple of hundred but it was definitely not close to $45,000.
I went home and did a Kelly Blue Book evaluation and the trade-in value came in at $43,500 to $46,500. I did the cash offer application and that came up $43,750. I have a dealer who offered me $44,250 cash.
Either Tom Ross deliberately low balled the offer to me or he made a significant error in evaluating my vehicle.
I don't think I'm buying the "no bull" slogan.
