This was my first time at a strip club and maybe Jilly's wasn't the best place to pop that cherry. It's like taking a vegetarian to Dangerous Dan's to try a burger; the meat is cheap and of poor quality, and you're afraid to sit anywhere.
We went around 9 p.m. on a Saturday and the place was as empty as a eunuch's jockstrap. Much has been said about the heinosity of the strippers here but I thought they weren't THAT bad looking. Where were the missing teeth and visible C-section scars that I heard about? I actually might've liked Jilly's better if the girls were really fug; then I could appreciate the kitsch factor.
However, my main problem with the ladies was that they were just phoning in their routines. Their eyes were glazed over and the choreography of their "sets" was as flat and lifeless as the aging Asian stripper's chest. Nobody's gonna buy lap dances off of you if you have all the enthusiasm of a starfish in bed.
Jilly's has no cover charge but it still wasn't worth the $14.50 I paid for two bottles of skunky Sleeman's.
