I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Benson since they were puppies. My Cavalier, Baylee, has had two litters of puppies that all had their check-ups and routine inspections/shots done here. Baylee has since been spayed and has been healthy since day one.
My Great Dane, Samson, has had some health issues over the last year. It first started with a diagnosis of arthritis, which is common with Danes. Then he got a viral infection and had explosive diarrhea (sorry the graphic description, but it's the truth) and got a staph infection in his foot in January 2017, which is just healing now. The arthritis we treat by him taking a few pills each day - he is totally fine now and can run and jump as normal. The stomach virus went away after some meds that were prescribed. The staph infection (likely contracted at the dog park) was very resistant to antibiotics. It's been four months of multiple treatments to see what would work best, but it's finally healing.
Dr. Benson and her team have been exceptional with regards to the care of my animals. They all know Samson when he comes in and he is actually very comfortable there now and gets excited to see some of the techs and girls at the counter (who are so friendly and personal). There were times that I had some scares with the puppies and with Samson and Dr. Benson even provided me with her personal email to write to her if I had questions. She takes the time to explain what's happening and even priced out where I can get medication cheaper than what the they charge. She clearly is concerned about making sure my animals are getting the proper treatment, regardless of the money.
I really can't express how grateful I am that they would treat my animals with the genuine care that they do. I can't speak on the other vets in the clinic, but Dr. Benson has been amazing.
