| - Had my Omega Constellation, 18K with 18k band, for 50 years and this is the best repair, much to my surprise! First and second repairs were in Toronto, Canada, at Birk's Jewelers. Third repair was in San Francisco, at the only Omega designated repair place there. San Francisco was the worst. they put scratches all over it and over-polished the whole watch to the point where it erased the sky background of the observatory on the back of the watch. The watch also felt like tin and something rattled in it. Then the watch was slow by 1.5 minutes a day till I got it back from Donaldson. They all charged in the high 300's, even 40 years ago. The watch I got back form Donaldson felt solid, looked brand new, was exactly on time after 3 days, the winding mechanism feels smooth, and I am delighted with their service. They also delivered the watch in a fancy pouch and returned all parts they replaced. It took them about 7 weeks to fix it but it was well worth it because this is the best repair I have ever had for this watch.
