Purchased a Ford Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer on August 1st 2017.... on August 11th 2017 check engine light turns on...car overheated while waiting in line to pick up children at school...so I turned off the ac in the 110 degree heat...the car immediately went back to normal temperature. When I got on my way I turned the ac back on and didn't have any other problems however check engine light has stayed on . This has happened several times during the afternoon heat since August 11. Fast forward to August 29th 2017... I finally have a chance to take the car to True Fix to have it checked out. At 8:30 am True Fix is booked solid on a first come basis only. No appointments or weekends accepted. August 30th 2017 at 7:15 am I turn my car on and a strange noise started and then a part fell right out of my engine on to the ground. I noticed that the ac is not blowing cold air as I turned off the car. I believe it is a part to the ac compressor. On August 31st 2017 at 9:00 am we returned this vehicle to drive now on Glendale Rd.
I have kept this review completely professional. I did not reveal the number of phone calls made to the drive now office, the way we were treated by Mr. Glen or the remarks he made to my husband. I also did not state that before we were given the telephone number and address to True Fix they asked for our name and location of our vehicle to see if we were current on our payment.
I also did not include the fact that my husband placed reviews about drive now and was contacted by the drive now office and asked why he was placing reviews about the company. I will not say anything bad or defamatory about drive now. I don't need too. They do a great job doing that on their own.
