  • On a breezy day in Montreal, particularly if there's a big football match on, it's hard to imagine a better locale than L'Barouf. With an open facade, lots of beers on tap, free popcorn, and a few large TVs showing the Real Madrid game, it was a nice way to burn a couple hours on a Sunday in Quebec. The service was friendly and prompt despite only one person working the room, and on a sunny day, it wasn't too dark to the point of getting depressed you're inside a bar watching sports on a weekend instead of enjoying the great outdoors. If I were a local, there's no doubt this would be my go-to weekend sports bar.
