I came into the Apple Store to replace a cracked screen. At the time of my appointment, I was quoted a price for the work. I mentioned that I purchased the insurance and asked if it would be covered. The Apple Tech took a look at my account and stated that the two year warranty expired a week ago. I sadly said, "oh, no". He told me to wait and ran to the back. He later came back stating Apple would be able to cover the work under my warranty! I have been a loyal Apple customer since the late 1980's and it's reasons like this that I continue to praise Apple for looking out for the customer and doing the right thing.
