  • It was my 30th birthday and I wanted to go somewhere out of or norm and figured after wanting to go here many vacations before FINALLY splurged to eat here, but unfortunately the hype fell very short! We made reservations for 5:00 and I was disappointed there was no confirmation call or e-mail to say hey your reservation is booked, etc. I had to call and I guess call me crazy, but it's that extra little touch that at least makes you feel special. On a bright note, my wife and I did get to sit outside on the patio in the nearest table facing the fountain which was an experience to say the very least. It really felt VIP like to sit that close to the fountain and with a sun burn getting the mist from the fountain show upon its completion was an added bonus. Collectively we had the same problem with our steaks. We both ordered the filet mignon medium and it was more of a how to cook steak diagram. The ends were burnt, the middle was far from medium, and that just didn't cause for a great feeling. We also ordered crab mashed potatoes which were way too buttery and the crunchy potatoes which certainly lived up to that, but that's NOT a good thing. It was too crisp on the outside and mashed in the middle, but the taste honestly just wasn't there. The worst feeling overall was hearing my wife feel like she didn't belong there. It seemed from the very beginning the staff felt that as well and displayed that all through the meal. It seemed they looked down on us and my wife even said one of them ran to our table after we left just to make sure we paid. REALLY? If I was in the right mindset I would have dealt with that, but honestly Karma is a you know what. Truth be told they can continue to prepare sub par side orders and wow with a chef who clearly didn't know a medium prepared steak without us. Now drench your house made steak sauce in that Prime!
