I want to like Nola, probably will and wish them the best. Trying them for the first time during the arts festival was a mistake. But . . . The service was horrible. A 7:15 reservation became an 8:00 when we were forced to hover over an outside table waiting for the group to leave. We thought the four-top was incredibly rude as they lingered over their completed and cleared meal until we realized they were still waiting for their check. They immediately produced a credit card only to wait another fifteen minutes for the waitress to return. We then got the same waitress and the same level of service. No manager inquiry and only painfully uneven service. The food--at least the things they weren't out of--was good. But I'll try again on a quieter night.
