| - We purchased the $99 2-night package for the Bluegreen in Las Vegas. The package also included 2 tickets to a Cirque Du Soleil show. The salesman also included 2 tickets to the Magic and Mayhem show which we found out later no longer existed. We were told that the presentation would be 90 minutes, but it actually took us 3 hours to get out. After the presentation, which did not provide any details on price or how the point system works, we told our assigned salesperson that it was not for us. But, we still had to go through the viewing of the suites. Then, we were presented with a package that costs $32,000 and had annual maintenance fees of $1400. We said it was not for us. Then, we were presented with a package that costs $20,000. We said it was not for us. Then, we were presented with a package that costs $8,000 and points would be accrued every other year. We said it was not for us. Then, the salesperson called over the manager. He presented a 1-year trial package that costs $800. We said it was not for us. Then, the manager said we could have the added benefit of booking the Bluegreen suites at Las Vegas for $79 per night for unlimited number of nights per year. We said it was not for us.
Also, these offers were only good for that day. So, we were not allowed to think about it overnight. Finally after 3 hours, we were escorted to the gift checkout line to receive our gift. The salesperson and manager were not overly aggressive. I understand they have a job to do and a script to follow. But, 3 hours of our time was far from the 90 minutes that the initial salesman promised for this experience.
The suite was actually not bad, except that the air conditioning vent in our room was rattling. Housekeeping and WI-FI will cost extra. The parking was plentiful. There are a few places to get a bite to eat in the same parking complex. The Strip is not within walking distance, unless you want to walk over a mile each way. They offer a shuttle that stops running around 9pm.
