I thought I previously reviewed One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating but evidently did not. I go way back with this company when they used to be called something else. I have been a customer since 1999.
Anyway, I purchased a complete A/C and heating system from them in 2010. They did an excellent job installing it and the unit works great.
I have a service plan and they come twice a year to inspect the unit.
I heard a funny noise today from the attic and connecting wall and was concerned. They sent out a technician and the lady informed me there would be a $89 diagnostics charge and that it would be waived if there was something wrong with the unit that was covered under warranty or if repairs were done that exceeded the amount.
I called a little before 4:00 pm and they han a slot open between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm the same day. They guy arrived within an hour of calling them on one of the hottest days of the year.
The technician thoroughly inspected the unit and could not find anything wrong. He was able to reduce the noise a little but assured me that it was normal and that the unit was functioning properly.
I pulled out my wallet to pay him and was pleasantly surprised when he informed me that it was covered under my service plan. He was able to see that I've never called in six years of having the unit except for the annual checkup.
You read so many stories in general of HVAC companies taking advantage of people. I would have paid the $89 fee for the peace of mind and am very thankful it was waived. I am very delighted that there are no known problems with the system. I would not hesitate to use One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating for future HVAC needs.
