Excellent steakhouse located inside the district in MGM Grand. Definitely worth the visit if you are staying at MGM or at the south end of the strip. Traditional high end Vegas style steakhouse so recommend dressing the part and avoiding the jeans and casual clothes.
Positives
1) Steaks are out of this world! They offer Wagyu on the menu and it's absolutely incredible. Menu is fairly straightforward and typical of a steakhouse with most items being al a carte. They do offer dinner flights where you pick your steak and the chef matches sides and desserts. We chose that option and it was awesome!
2) Wine List is robust, and extensive with wines from all across the globe. They also offer larger 1.5L and magnum wine bottles in select wines. You can download the wine list before you visit and I would recommend doing that if you plan to have wine so you can zero in on a few bottles and have the staff recommend pairings.
3) Ambience is high end and the Dining room is gorgeously designed and decorated.
4) Service is simply outstanding. Although you expect that at a high end steakhouse it is still wonderful to have that level of service when you are paying top dollar for a meal!
Negatives
1) Wines are heavily overpriced and marked up what seems to be quite a bit over industry standard. To make matters worse they charge an exorbitant $50 corkage fee for bringing your own wine to the restaurant. Although digging through the wine list you can certainly find wines at a local store that when added to the $50 corkage fee would likely be a good value, $50 is just insane! I would much rather see them mark up their wines more reasonably and lower the corkage fee to $25-$30 where most high end steakhouses are. Sometimes you want to bring your favorite wine from home and not pay 350% markup.
2) Dining room is tight and intimate which make the noise a little louder than you may want. They also have tables near the perimeter of the restaurant that are right along the main walkway of the property so you catch noise from outside the restaurant too.
