The #1 most reviewed restaurant in Las Vegas!
Alas! I finally got to dine here! I originally heard of Mon Ami Gabi last year when I was planning my sister's bachelorette party. I saw how popular it was on yelp but I was looking for something a little more formal for a special occasion so I decided to have her bachelorette party at the Eiffel Tower restaurant instead which is wonderful as well. You can search my Yelp review for the Eiffel Tower Restaurant on my page.
Mon Ami Gabi and the Eiffel Tower hands down has the best view in Las Vegas because they face the Bellagio Fountains which has a show every half hour.
I highly recommend making reservations on Opentable. We came on a weeknight and the patio was full which has the best view but inside the restaurant there was plenty of available tables. I'm not sure you can reserve a seat on the patio but we were just lucky that one was available when we came in for our reservation.
Upon seating they serve you a complimentary French baguette! It reminds me when I was in college and I studied abroad in Paris I had a baguette almost on a daily basis! It's funny how something so simple like bread can get you excited ha ha They serve it with some sort of carrot salad? I'm not exactly sure what it was.
My sister and I ordered pasta and the salmon brioche. Everything we had was good. We ended our meal with a latte which was nice, warm and delicious. Especially since we were seated outside at night.
Everything was pretty good the food and service would probably be 4/5 but the ambiance and view brings it up to 5/5 for me!
Definitely a cute and romantic French Restaurant. I'll have to come back for brunch.
If you're debating between Mon Ami Gabi and Eiffel Tower Restaurant, I would go to the Eiffel Tower for special occasions like a proposal, anniversaries or a birthday. Mon Ami Gabi would be good for a nice lunch or dinner (Think Sunday Best).
