On a particularly warm February, a friend and I decided to hit up Kid Cashew and enjoy lunch on the front patio. This was my first visit. The service was great and when I asked what I should order, drink wise, our server recommended the Goats Breastmilk I think it was called. It was an original combo of Ouzo and Amaretto and I think lemon and basil. It hit the spot. Looks like they have five dollar craft cocktails on Thursdays too along with other daily drink specials every other day of the week.
For food we started with the regular hummus. It comes with warm, fresh pita and you can add carrots and celery for two dollars. I got a Greek salad and didn't see the roasted red peppers on the menu when I ordered. I don't care for those and would prefer just regular, crisp red pepper but it was a generous size and had good flavor. I paired that with the beef skewers which were very flavorful and cooked just to my liking. Two skewers come in and order so it was a nice sized lunch.
