I had my entire backyard remodeled by proficient patios, it was the worst customer service experience ever. And I'm not the only one to experience the following problems... look at their reviews on the better business bureau. I only wish I had done more research before signing a contract with them.
They would tell me the workers would be arriving and then they would never show, when I would call the office I was given excuse after lie after excuse. And then other days the workers would just show up with no warning. I was told the project would take 3 weeks. It took almost 3 months. I was lied to on numerous occasions regarding people being scheduled to arrive and when I asked why they were late or had to reschedule they would tell me this is the original appointment time. Even though the owners wife would call and say the person had to reschedule. This happened with the city for permits, the crane for the BBQ and hot tub, the concrete team and the landscapers. The person that was installing the patio cover showed up 30 minutes before his shift ended. I was told he would be at my house at 8 am. When I called the office I was told he was running behind on a project he started the day before. When I asked him about the situation he said they scheduled him to start on another install that morning before he could start mine. More lies!
The built in BBQ they delivered was so horrendous I was in tears. The tile was covered in paint. The doors were crooked. They delivered it before I was even able to pick the color. They used the wrong stucco. When the guys came to fix it they made it even worse. I had them take it back and when they scheduled the crane to come remove it they claimed the crane wasn't available to remove that piece of trash for a week and that the crane company was closed for the night already. I immediately called the crane company myself and they were open and available to remove the BBQ the following day. Another lie this horrible company told me.
And to top it off when I tried to contact the owner he and the only scheduling person his wife took two 10 day vacations during the 3 months it took to complete this project.
