  • Sushi Ken is my go to for sushi in Arizona. The food is delicious, no doubt about that in my mind. However two things about this restaurant bother me a lot.... like a lot a lot. 1. The interior is absolutely bland, borderline disgusting. It's basically one giant room filled with dim lighting, a dirty ceiling, and an awkward looking bar/kitchen area. I've never heard any atmospheric music being played, the carpet is ugly, the furniture is boring and dark, and there is no privacy offered by the interior design. It feels like you're out in the open for everyone to watch, yet I can never get the waiters attention which brings me to my next point. 2. The service SUCKS! If anyone that works here is reading this, please note that your service is terrible and try to fix it! No one ever greets you when you walk in, so you are left to stand awkwardly at the front of the restaurant until you're lucky enough for a waiter to notice you. The waiters are never friendly, never smile, and never there when you need. If this restaurant just improved their service, I would give them 5 stars.
