When you first walk in, you notice that the decor is very hip; lots of wooden tables, wooden chairs, bright windows, chalkboards, and they have this wooden plaque that spells out the letter M with tiny light bulbs--they are a cool bake shop.
I had ordered an iced coffee and a flax seed banana muffin. Unfortunately, I didn't find either to be so phenomenal that I would want to come back for more. The coffee lacked aroma and the muffin was a bit too dense (although I DID get a flax seed muffin). Their other pastries looked okay too, but I wouldn't say there was anything that really caught my eye.
The staff though were SO friendly!! When I ordered my iced coffee I sat down at a table to wait for my order and the kind girl brought the coffee over to me! I had also stayed until they were closing but I was never rushed by the staff to leave.
Overall, Main Street bake house has the usual selection of baked goods and coffee/tea that most likely will satisfy your needs, and it is definitely a nice addition to the growing Stouffville community.
