| - Can we just say that this place is simply amazing, 3 floors of entertainment, art, imagination, sensory play, stem, and so much more for kids and even adults are seen enjoying the activities.
The location is located near the Symphony theater and close by the outdoor outlet mall.
Now if you worried about parking, just stop right there. They have a parking garage dedicated to their attendees. Now parking could be a little tricky for first time families, their is an outdoor parking lot across the street. Which is not for the Museum, unless you want to park outside. Which I would definitely not recommend, you'll be coming back to an extremely hot car. With summer coming this is definitely not the time to park your car outside.
Now onto the Discovery Museum, this is a pretty big building designated with many fun activities for your child, and even adults who enjoy doing activities with their kiddos.
Every few months they have special traveling exhibitions, I'm not to sure which other museums they come from or go.
You can always check online which exhibits they have, or will have. This month was design zone.
My sons favorite, activity at the Discovery museum was Water World, he was able to freely enjoy all the activities that Water World has to offer. We usually leave this room last, because your kid can get really soaked!
I guess the only thing that might be a problem for First timer Museum Visitors, is there is no cafeteria for hot food, so I would definitely eat before coming and snack in their snack room, they have a few vending machines that sells snacks and drinks.
But overall this is a pretty cool place to bring your kids, especially during summer. They have a lot of educational activities and a lot of activities to burn that extra energy from being out of school.
They also have camps available, if your looking for camp options.
So pack up the kids, if your looking for a good place to entertain the kiddos.
