Our hot water heater went out and we used our home warranty company like all the other reviews. They spent 2 minutes Sat to say we needed a new water heater: we did not get it installed until Wednesday. I can't say if that was really their fault or if Landmark Warranty was slow. When we finally got a quote, we were told we had to pay an additional $300 for "an extra man" for labor due to the tank position, and to replace some hoses. One tech showed up. While he was professional and polite throughout this, his company is not ethical. We questioned the second man fee: he called his boss and was told they would "reduce it" to $75. We called the home warranty company and confirmed labor charges had already been paid: Landmark called M-R and the labor charge was taken off. So we paid $150 in addition to our original fee for changing a few hoses. The company is not ethical and is padding the bill. Tech could only show us the original bill on his phone and would not give any kind of receipt or invoice. Never again.
