  • Smart Gym on 12/27/18 closed without notice to its members of any kind. I have regularly had emails sent from Smart Gym in the past. Any notification of closure and or transfer should have come directly from them. I arrived early January to work out and the doors were locked. A notice on the door stating that our membership was transferred to EOS Gym. Smart Gym did not request my permission to transfer my membership as well as my private information including as CC information to EOS Gym. I have been a member of Smart Gym for about 3-5 years. I am appalled that Smart Gym would have such unethical business practices. I have disputed recent charges to my CC company as well as contacted the GM for EOS Gym. I have also spoken with ABC Financial the 3rd party billing company for EOS Gym. I refuse to pay a single penny for 30 day notice to a gym I've never been in or agreed to join. I encourage ALL former Smart Gym victims to do the same. Smart Gym deserves a class action lawsuit for invasion of privacy. These business practices should never be allowed.
