| - I have never written a negative review for anywhere before, but I feel like EVERYONE should know that this place is a fraud. Their pics on Instagram couldn't be more deceitful.
I flew ALL the way from TX to get my hair done at "Habit Salon." I had to pay a $600 deposit just to make the appt (which took SEVERAL telephone attempts made by me). I knew that was a red flag all by itself, but one of the top salons that I went to in Beverly Hills (Meche Salon) had liked some of Habit's IG pics so I assumed, mistakenly , that Meche stylists endorsed this salon. I never even thought about looking on YELP so idk if this review will help ppl but I am putting it out there anyway.
I FINALLY paid and got the appt, and when I went in, I waited a solid hour before getting to the chair. Then Chrissy finally came over after being in the chair for 20 more minutes. Chrissy started the highlights-she was in such a hurry and SO rough! I could feel her ripping, breaking and pulling my hair out-That was just to get the highlights put in. EVERYTHING else was done by her assistants. I was left under the dryer so long that I actually turned the dryer off myself because I KNEW it was too long. The assistants had me at the sink for a super long time putting SEVERAL toners on my hair. Then, when they were blow drying my hair, the whole front of my just hair broke off. I told them to stop with the styling and then Chrissy came over and asked if they could curl it "FOR THE PICS" and she put in 2 pieces of clip in extensions to help cover the breakage. They charged me another $1200 before I left. I kept telling them that I had already paid the $600 and they sd,"we know and it's still the right amount." I think I was in total shock and I just paid it to get the hell out of there after 6.5 hours. That's not the worst part-when I got back to my hotel and went to pull my hair back, ALL of the underside of my hair was almost black!! It was unbelievable. It has been 3 months now and I have had SEVERAL treatments on my hair and it STILL takes 2 hours to detangle my hair EVERY time I wash it. After reading these reviews, I realize that I am grateful just to have any hair left, but I wanted ppl to know that I am a real person and this is a real review and it has been pure hell trying to keep all of my hair from breaking off. I have grays coming back by my ears and I am actually petrified to try to have anyone do anything with my hair because I just know that my hair cannot take any kind of color or bleaching! I also want you to know that my hair hadn't been colored or bleached in over 7 months when I went to Habit and my hair was perfectly healthy when I went in there. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! Just horrible......
