I haven't stayed here but I have attended an event here in a space on the seventh floor. I was impressed that for a medium sized conference room, it was bright and spacious. So much natural light with great views of the campus and additional views of Nose Hill on one side and the Foothills Hospital area on the other. The acoustics in the room were great for the presentations and for general conversations as well. I was surprised how well ventilated it was...you know how conference areas can get so stuffy once more than 10 people are in a room. Clean, bright and modern.
The room allowed nicely for a mingling area as well as a seated area for a presentation. The food that was catered (light appies and desserts were simple yet beautifully presented. There were huge closets for coats and a nice lobby area to greet guests. The washrooms were modern, eco-friendly and very clean. The elevators to the space were also speedy which is nice.
I'd definitely consider this space for offsite, get out of downtown, meetings or presentations.
The only downside: no wifi.
