It's really hard to find a place that gives you excellent customer service so early in the morning.
This place definitely managed to pull it off!
It's a small little shop with two girls on shift. Both were peppy, welcoming, and more than helpful. I had never been, and it was made obvious by my confused awkward stance. One of the girls asked me what I was looking for, directed me to where I needed to go and quickly and efficiently explained and grabbed donuts for my hungry co workers.
Also only cost me $13.00 for a dozen specialty donuts. At The Donut Bar in San Diego ( I have yet to go to the one that recently opened up here) I spent $34.00 on a similar box of specialty donuts.
We got the following:
Pink, Blue, and two Chocolate Sprinkle Cake Donuts- 5/5
-All the cake donuts were moist and delicious. Not too sweet and not too heavy.
Fruit Loop and Captain Crunch Donut Bars with Vanilla Glaze- 3.5/5
-I love the concept and they were pretty good, we just found some of the cereal pieces to taste a little bit stale and it was awkward to eat.
Lemon Filled- 5/5
-Great flavor and packed with delicious Lemon filling.
PB&J- 4/5
-Not a huge Peanut butter fan but I love a good PB&J. This was a tad bit messy and the Peanut butter flavor was a tad over powering. Still very good.
Key Lime Pie- 5/5
-I didn't get a taste of this one but they said it was one of the best donuts they've ever had.
We had a couple other misc flavors and the box was devoured in a few minutes.
