This was a tough one - the flowers I received were ok. Not spectacular (the roses were cut short) and not exactly perfectly arranged. The vase was adequate but cheap looking.
What struck down the number of stars was the way I was treated on the phone by this florist! I received a call at work and the woman clearly stated the florist name and that they had a delivery for me but needed my last name and more info for the address. I was told this was to protect the driver. OK, fine, but when I inquired as to why they would contact the recipient of the gift and ruin the surprise rather than the sender, the woman flew off the handle and told me that she had been in this business for a LONG TIME and CAN'T I JUST ACT SURPRISED AND RAAAAH!!!!! I finally had to tell her to calm down! My entire office could hear her and it was really embarrassing. I feel like this could be a great place if their customer service leaned toward apology instead of bullying. If they didn't feel the driver would be safe, why not cancel the order and email the sender if you didn't have his number? Or at the VERY least, not mention that it is a flower delivery coming?? She even offered to read me the card. I would not use this florist again and if you are sending flowers as a surprise, I can say its no secret I wouldn't recommend them to you either.
Follow up: my flowers did not last long at all - three days for the most part in an air conditioned house. :(
