Maybe today was just a bad day for them.. but the culture here seems askew. The wait was 45 minutes after they told us it would be 20. The host would go outside to call out names and barely whisper them.. there were a lot of people confused if they had been called or not. Once seated the restaurant was almost empty. I have worked in restaurants for 10 plus years and this was an obvious sign they are very understaffed. Lots of people waiting but nobody eating. There were lots of flies all over and the decor is old and dusty. The waiter Miles didn't say hello and didn't smile. He's demeanor was basically shouting he hates his job. The food was quick to arrive but the sausage was mushy and potatoes and eggs were damp and cold. Other Good Egg locations I've been to have been consistent and clean.. this location needs help. They need better staffing and they need an overnight cleaning party fast.
