My poor rating is strictly for the customer service. The cupcakes and wedding cake are good, but the terrible customer service I received eclipsed the quality of the food. The main contact was courteous and helpful up until the point that I signed the contract and gave my deposit. After that, every attempt at communication was extremely difficult. If I sent an email to ask them a question it was at least 4 days before she would reply. I called the store thinking that would be faster but the person answering the phone would not help me. Kept insisting that I had to wait for her partner to answer my emails.
At one point they got the date of my wedding wrong which had to be corrected. They made sure to contact me about my final deposit though. When I called to give my credit card info they said they would call me back in half an hour. They never did. I had to chase them down again just to take my money. They wouldn't even give a time that they would drop off the wedding cake. Just a vague time frame.
Good cake, but the added stress they gave me on top of everything else that comes with a wedding was not worth it for me.
