  • I used to think Michaels only sold yarn and other boring "old people" items. Boy, was I wrong!!! I entered the downtown location one day to use the bathroom. This is where an Indigo store used to be. I felt bad for entering the new store. I browsed around afterwards and I could not believe all the cool items they had!!! Over the past couple of years I have bought many items at Michaels. They always have coupons which is fantastic. They are very smart with how they run their business. I am so glad this store came into my life. Most of the items I purchased were used to make gifts for people. Their slogan "Where Creativity Happens" is the truest slogan out there. They sell items for anyone from beginner crafter to advanced crafter. There simply is not another store in Toronto that offers the variety of items that Michaels has. The downtown location is my favourite one even though the one at the Stockyards is closer to me. There should be a Michaels in every neighborhood of Toronto. If you have never entered Michaels, DO IT!!!!!
