| - I want to give this place 4 stars, but I'll have to give it 3 for the following two reasons:
1) Only two prix fixe menu: a six course for $39.95, or a three course for $24.95
2) The food is good, but not amazing. Definitely not the best hummus, cous cous, or kebabs I've had, but still good.
I had the three course menu, which has two options. The first is soup, salad, and then the entree. The second is salad, entree, and then the dessert. I don't really have a sweet tooth, so I went with the former.
The soup was a lentil soup, that came with some bread. The bread was nothing special, but I thought the lentil soup was excellent, especially since I'm not a fan of lentils. The salad was basically some carrots, olives, and cucumbers with hummus and a eggplant sauce/hummus. I enjoyed both and thought it was definitely above average. For the entree, I had roasted chicken and vegetables over some cous cous. The cous cous was excellent, flavorful and moist, while the chicken was just decent.
The real star of the meal was the pot of mint tea I ordered. Slightly on the sweet side, but it was some of the best mint tea I've ever had. Highly recommended.
TL;DR: Get the mint tea; the food is good, but a little pricy.
