The moment I took a bite into my sandwich, I was instantly reminded of the baguettes I bought off the street in Paris. So good!
Baguette Café is sort of in a weird spot in the middle of a bunch of an office park. If you take Sunset, you have to weave through a bunch of office buildings.. or you can access it off Raphael Riviera (Frontage Rd.) It's a great spot for a quick and delicious lunch. Sandwiches/Panini's are about 7 bucks a pop. Portions aren't exactly huge, but it's definitely quality. The café isn't large, but there is plenty of seating outside. I came with a group of 4 and the workers and they scrambled to put tables together for us. It was my first time there and the guy at the registered was warm and provided a bunch of information on each of the sandwiches. Good service - much appreciated!
I got the Prosciutto baguette. Good! Fresh meat, great fixings such as bleu cheese and this walnut dressing. All the flavors mixed beautifully! The cajun chicken and tuna sandwich also got rave reviews from the people I was with.
Totally recommended if you have a chance to go there during your lunch hour. I can't wait to go back and try more. Don't forget though - it's closed on weekends :( !
