  • To really enjoy Durants you have to have dinner at the bar. The service at the bar is excellent and the Durant regulars know that the bar is where to strike up a conversation with your neighbors. And try a gin martini - it's excellent. Like other reviewers have noted, the service expected for the prices is not experienced in the restaurant proper. While the food is the best. My favorite is the prime rib - medium rare - with garlic mash potatoes and asparagus.
