this is the only Costco I know that makes you show your card before you can get in. Like you can even get out of the store with anything with out it at the check out. Not understanding the harassment of it aside from keeping the homeless people out? I mean Paradise Valley is a bit pretentious anyway but validating yourself in order to get in? Please. If you are going to the pharmacy you don't need a card just say pharmacy and walk in, that's what I do now I don't feel I need to dig my card out like it's some secret club I am walking in to. Besides that the samples at every corner are ridiculous. Not only do people rarely buy the items but they rude block the aisles because they are more concerned about shoving their face full of free snacks. My husband and I rarely go and when we do we try to go right when they open so as to avoid the food grazers. But honestly?? enough with the card check in, it really isn't necessary especially when other Costco's aren't doing it seems to be along the lines of profiling.
