My wife went in for a pre-surgical EKG. The doctor or PA who read the EKG told her she had a recent heart attack and wanted her to go to the ER in an ambulance. I got her in to see my cardiologist two days later. He read the EKG and said that there was never a heart attack and he gave her an EKG and she was fine.
Now I just got the bill in the mail a month later. It looks like they never billed our insurance but they are a contracted provider, yet never showed the contractual adjustments to their charges on the bill.
Customer service is awful. I called the number on the bill, but it turns out the mailbox is full on that one. I found business office number on-line and tried calling that, but after holding and pressing the button for a live representative and then ringing, and re-circulating, after about fifteen minutes I was disconnected.
If this is not resolved I intend to file complaint with my insurance carrier and with Arizona BOMEX.
