Yes, this after hours pet urgent care is expensive and the doc may go a little overboard on the tests but they are very upfront about the costs and show you written estimates before doing anything. It was off putting at first that they treated me like I was buying a car (requiring that I provide my personal info, ID and proof of payment upfront) but they treated my dog very well which is the important part. I do realize they are trying to run a business and because of unsavory people running out on their bills, they had to resort to this tactic. The doc explained everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions. They also had the medication she needed on site which was a plus. They followed up with test results via phone and email (so I could share the info with my vet) and also called a week later to ask how she was doing.
