  • There's not many Thai places in Lakewood, and having lived in Cleveland Heights, we got spoiled by the number of great Asian places there ... But when we feel the need for Thai, this is our first choice. The Hut's been around for years, but it is currently owned by the former owners of Thai Orchid in Mayfield, which I used to enjoy. Straight-forward menu, and good value for the price. The Pad Thai is a little sweeter than some other places, but tasty nonetheless. In a similar vein, the Pad See U is a little less sweet than some other places (just had some in Chicago last weekend that was surprisingly sweet), but hits the spot. We also had the Massaman Curry with tofu, which was good, with a little hit of heat at the very end, and the deep fried veggie rolls, which were really good! It's a small storefront near Birdtown, with a modest dining room, but it's a great take-out option when you're craving some Thai good!
