I've been to The Asbury at least a dozen times for both brunch and dinner. I love this place, and it's one of my go-to restaurants when I'm uptown. The food tastes fresh, is always cooked perfectly, and the menu does a great job at using local, in-season ingredients. The menu changes seasonally, so it's fun to go at different times of the year to see what they are offering.
The cuisine is described as modern Southern, which reminds me of the type of food they serve in Charleston (a city well-known for their restaurants). I typically get fish, but my husband will try the more adventurous items like bison tongue. We both clean our plates when we come here. The mixed drinks are good too!
