Every time we come to Vegas we eat at a buffet. At this point, we have been to the current version of a half dozen. Reviews would tell me that this one should have been the best, or at least a tie. It wasn't. We ate on a Saturday at 730- a time food had no excuse to be old, over cooked, or dry.
That being said, there were some excellent dishes. But, there were just as many that were entirely boring, or poorly executed. My next Buffet dollar will be back at wicked spoon or bacchanal where they seem to understand what people expect when spending nearly fine dining money at a buffet.
With so many excellent restaurants in the wynn/encore complex, I am really not sure how this can be....
